Bienvenue to Les Deux Coqs!

We're dedicated to giving you the very best of French food especially Charcuterie (smallgoods), Patisserie, Viennoiserie, and Ready to eat.

Founded in 2017 by Bastien & Katia in Mclaren Vale, Les Deux Coqs (meaning The Two Roosters) has come from its beginnings at different Farmers’ Markets in South Australia. As soon as both arrived from France, Katia & Bastien met their customers at different Farmers’ Markets where they sold their homemade Rillettes, Terrines, Tapenades, Sweet Spreads in glass jars. Both shared their passion for French food with their customers. 

In 2018, demand was booming, and it was time to have our own place. Les Deux Coqs moved to Prospect where they produced all their Charcuterie and they opened their first shop at the iconic Adelaide Central Market – Stall 2.

In 2021, they transitioned their production from Prospect to Kent Town in a bigger factory.

In 2022, after trading temporarily with their shop trailer in Rundle Mall and a big success, they opened their 2nd shop in 128 Rundle Mall.

In 2023, Les Deux Coqs opened their 3rd shop in the beautiful town of Stirling where they traded for few years at the Stirling Laneways Market.

From iconic to iconic place, Les Deux Coqs are definitely the "must-go" if you wish to enjoy and experience French food and culture in Adelaide.

Today, we are an Adelaide-based business and we pride ourselves on staying true to our traditional hand processing methods and to never compromise on the quality of our products.

We use premium ingredients mainly from South Australia and the French savoir-faire. The majority of our products are free of artificial colours, preservatives, additives. Only good things, Oh la la!

We are proud to offer unique and incredible Charcuterie products to our customers (like pate en croutes), but also to showcase a fantastic range of handmade French Pâtisseries. Viennoiserie (pastry) and breads are also available in our shops.
